Making your own mentor

that this would become a regular feature for me. Its inspiring to find out more about these amaizing people.
So, my second inspiring mentor is this man......
Nelson Mandela
Who?
- Born in the Transkei, South Africa on July 18th, 1918
- Jailed for 27 years
- South Africa's first black president
- Won the Nobel Prize in 1993
- His father died when he was 9 years old
- Qualified as a lawyer
- He got remarried at the age of 80
- Played a part in helping SA to have the World Cup football Games held there in 2010
Why they're magnetic?
- His genuine love for people shines through more noticeably than anything else
- His leadership ability
- He inspires people to "get on board"
- He never gave up
- He knew what he believed in and he stood his ground - no matter what was happening around him
- He didnt believe in limits
- He learnt how to forgive and let go of the opportunities of bitterness
- He is an honourable and tolerante man
What I want to take from their story?
- No matter what you see around you or what people say to you - believe in your dreams!
- Treat everyone with respect, value each other.
- Life can not be lived to the fullest with bitterness in your heart. Forgiveness is not something you do for others, its something you do for yourself.
- Be who you are - and be proud of who that is. In the same respect allow those around you to be who they are.
