4 Simple Goals

Friday, August 20, 2010

It has been ages since i have done any sort of project - be that art or blog project - so when i came across the 4 Simple Goals project on Elsie's blog i decided that i had to have a go.

Here are the guidelines...........

1. choose simple goals that will make your life richer and happier on a daily basis. Things which you may not ordinarily do but that are not difficult.

2. choose activity orientated goals; not result orientated goals. For example....i choose to eat more fruit and vegetable instead of i choose to lose 10 pounds. Positive actions instead of the end result.

3. choose goals that are personal to you. They can be daily, weekly or just a once off.

4. choose a reward for each accomplishment.

5. blog your goals, each one as you achieve them and finally a big post once they are all complete.

Here are my 4 goals:

1. Take more photographs of anything and everything. Since i sold my Canon camera i have been a little lazy in taking photos. I sort of got side tracked with what i considered to be my "uneventful life" that i thought it was pointless to take photos. But not anymore.....i am starting to realise that i have an interesting life that needs living to the fullest.
2.  Meet up with either a new or an old friend.  I feel as if i have been hiding out from people for so long that i am really going to push myself to be a little more social. Get together with some old friends, or maybe even go and meet a new friend or two.
3. Paint a new canvas picture. I haven't painted a new canvas in months and i think it is about time that i do. Painting always make me happy and always leaves me feeling free.
4. Curl my hair and wear a pretty headband.  I love curling my hair and have wanted to wear a headband for like forever, but when it comes down to it i always seem to chicken out. So.....one night when i go out for dinner or a movie, i will curl my hair and put on a headband.
