If you haven't heard about the Story Kit is basically works like this. Each month Ali chooses a theme or idea to help us tell the stories of our lives. January's theme was gatherings/gather. One of the things that I love so much about these ideas is that they can mean different things to different people and you can use them in a multitude of different ways; whatever works with where you are in life.
I did a two page layout on a week that I had off work back in February for this months story. The front page is an adaption of the "Currently" concept in the sense of having jumping off prompts such as Enjoying, Browsing, Thinking About, Sending, Listening, Watching, Shopping For, Hanging and Building.
The other side of the page consists of a gathering of ordinary every day moments that make up my life. I love how each picture comes with a little story and how those little stories together, tell an even bigger one.
These kits are fantastic and consist of a lot of content. I still have a lot more stash left from this kit and will be using it in project life and perhaps a few additional layouts. At the start of the year I signed up to this kit as well as the Studio Calico monthly Project Life Kit and I am much happier with Ali's kit than I am Studio Calico.
